Jessica Baker is a Tennessee-based artist who has illustrated children's books, worked as a freelance artist and shown her visual artwork in the Nashville and Memphis regions primarily. 

 

Jessica is drawn to bold colors, high contrast, and whimsical images. Her new textile artwork is comprised of leather, wool, and cotton on canvas.

She is a teacher and leads the elementary art club at Tipton Rosemark Academy.

Jessica received a bachelors degree in Visual Art from Lambuth University.  She has continued to work as a freelance artist, pursue children's literature and visual art, while being employed as a nanny to two young boys for fifteen years.
