Join us in the gallery as we kick off the May Featured Artist Show with Joan McLoughlin. Everyone is invited to drop in for our opening reception on Friday, May 1, 5-8pm.
Joan's work is expressive and imaginative with vibrant, lush use of color. She begins with a chaotic canvas, freely painted, with no deliberate plan. She then reins it in, forming composition, shapes and sometimes recognizable organic images, applying artistic principles as needed. Joan achieves a balance between chaos and control, and the joy of painting is evident in her work.
All artists at Carolina Fine Art will also have their work represented during this special feature show. Wine and small bites provided.
